Refund policy
By booking a course directly on the 2nd Amend Training site or through a 3rd party service, you agree to abide by our policies.
Rescheduling / Cancellations
Cancellations and rescheduling made less than one week before your scheduled course start time will incur a 50% scheduling fee.
You may reschedule your course out to two weeks from your original course date. Rescheduling requests or cancellations made less than 5 days before the course start time will result in a 75% scheduling fee, which must be paid before your course can be rescheduled. Cancellations made less 72 hours before the scheduled class date will result in a forfeiture of all class fees payed.
To reschedule, please contact us at support@2ndamendtraining.com. When doing so, include your preferred new date based on our class availability. We cannot accommodate open-ended requests such as “I need to reschedule but don't know when I'll be available yet.”
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late (please note you must physically be in your seat) to your class, you will be rescheduled to the next available session. A second late arrival will result in your course reservation being canceled.
No call, no show
Failure to communicate in advance and not attending your scheduled class will result in forfeiture of any fees paid.
Range Fees
Range fees are not including in the cost of class and must be paid directly to the perspective range unless explicitly stated as a part of promotion at the time of signing up.
Deposits
Class deposits are non-refundable, and the full remaining balance for your classes must be paid 5 pm 3 business days before you commence training. If your balance is not paid in full by the due date, your space in class will be forfeited.
Replacement paperwork
Maintaining custody of perspective state paperwork is the student's responsibility, if your paperwork is lost or stolen there is a $75 replacement fee per state document.
Refunds
Items such as books must be in their original condition, any processing / credit card fees associated with your purchase will be deducted from your refund. Notification will be sent via email once we’ve received and inspected your return. If approved, you will automatically be refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at support@2ndamendtraining.com.
If a refund is issued, customer is responsible for all processing and or credit card fees.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items, gift cards or training courses after you have already attended. We are unable to return the cost of training if you are denied a permit by the prospective state for which you have applied.
All ammunition sales are final.
Liability
By utilizing our services, you acknowledge and accept full responsibility for any injuries or damages that may arise during or as a result of firearms training. Furthermore, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless 2nd Amend Training LLC from any liabilities associated with the misuse or unsafe handling of firearms, and to provide compensation for any damages incurred to firearms in such cases.
Completing training
In the event that your behavior disrupts the learning environment and leads to your removal from the classroom or premises, your payment will be forfeited and no refund will be provided. Similarly, if you choose to end a range session prematurely, you will not be eligible for a refund.
Should you persistently engage in unsafe behaviors during the range session, your session may be terminated, and no refund will be issued.
Failure to attend all of your class sessions results in the forfeiture of any payment.
In order to satisfy the live-fire training requirement for New Jersey you must use your own firearm and draw from an approved holster.
To be eligible for an Illinois concealed carry permit, you must reside in one of the following states: Arkansas, Idaho, Mississippi, Nevada, Texas, or Virginia, and hold a valid resident permit issued by your state of residence.
To receive the official NRA student certificate candidates must satisfy all the requirements, including passing the written test with a 90% or higher when applicable.
Denials
Regrettably, individuals with felony convictions are generally prohibited from obtaining a concealed carry permit or possessing firearms in numerous jurisdictions, unless their criminal records have been expunged. It is important to note that 2nd Amend Training LLC cannot be held accountable if your permit application is denied. However, every state typically has an appeals process available to applicants, allowing them to address and potentially resolve any issues that may arise.
If you have signed up for an Armed Forces course and are denied a permit due to a less than honorable discharge, you must satisfy the balance difference between your course and any additional training required.
It is the applicant's responsibility to stay informed about any changes in laws, rules, regulations, and application requirements. 2nd Amend Training cannot be held liable for any changes in the application process, state laws, or regulations, as the state holds the authority to approve or deny applications.
COVID-19
If you have cold symptoms, such as cough/sneezing/fever, or feel poorly, request that your in-person training be rescheduled. If you have a positive COVID-19 diagnosis, your in-person training can be rescheduled only after you’ve fully recovered and have a negative COVID-19 rapid test.
Photos
By attending events organized by 2nd Amend Training you authorize 2nd Amend Training LLC to utilize photographs and/or videos of you captured during the instructional sessions for various purposes, including but not limited to publications, news releases, online platforms, and other communications pertaining to the mission of 2nd Amend Training LLC.
Bring a Friend Courses
If you are enrolled in a Bring a Friend course and the other participant cancels or does not complete their training, you will be responsible for covering the price difference for an individual course.
